Union House Arts · Port Union, NL

July 5 – August 4, 2025

Kendall's first solo exhibition. Over three years, wishing stones, the white-ringed beach stones that riddle Newfoundland's shores, became the heart of her practice. Begun as a way to self-soothe grief over her relationship with her father, the series grew into a body of work on divided family relations, childhood memory, and Newfoundland and Labrador folklore. For the show, the gallery was transformed into one of Bell Island's ferries: five large graphite portraits of wishing stones, a looping video projection of the boat's run across the tickle, and physical wishing stones that visitors were invited to take, leave, and pass on. Supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the ArtsNL Professional Project Grants Program.

slip into something a little more comfortable

Rotary Arts Centre, Tina Dolter Gallery · Corner Brook, NL

January 19 – February 8, 2024

A collaborative two-person exhibition with Georgia Dawkin. Through humorous dialogue and fashion, the show examines gender stereotypes, societal expectations, and power imbalances within personal and professional settings. Using printmaking and drawing, the work questions the illusion of comfort in social conformity, as well as gendered stereotypes of power through clothing.
