Kendall Sweeney is a realism artist, a drawer, working in charcoal and graphite.

She renders ordinary things, beach stones worn smooth by the sea, at close range and in patient detail, trading colour for tone until shadow and surface carry the whole weight of the piece.

The work is an exercise in attention: the overlooked, held still and drawn by hand, becomes a charged, quiet moment on paper.
